Please read before signing up.

This is the final sign up for this term. The last two weeks are covered. We are only open 4 days in each week with Friday closed to all children.

We encourage you to sign up for Phase Three return, which looks increasing like being a 2 days in 2 groups offer. (To be confirmed), as your main offer for your child’s week.

Phase Three

Yrs 3 & 5 w/b 6th July

Yrs 2 & 4 w/b 13th July

The form is slightly more detailed with space for you to add extra info. It should be completed for every child. Key worker can access in the alternative week to a class return but not in the same week.

Anyone who has not used key worker care before should not apply.

We have removed the sign up for 4 days and allowed individual days to be selected.

Where we are oversubscribed, we will prioritise who will have access.

28.6.20 Have you missed anything?

28th June 2020Mr Bennett

28.6.20 Have you missed anything?

Well last week was very busy!

Phase Two

Phase Two started with many more children coming into school. Lots resigned to come to school next week as well!

Next week continues into Phase Two Week 2. Text messages should have reached you to confirm your place. We attempted to keep groups and days the same wherever possible. This will be the last week of Phase Two.

Sign up forms will be live early in the week for the last two weeks.

Key Workers

We are full everyday next week. If you are using the care for the first time, you need to provide evidence of your key worker status on your first visit if not before. Check the government lists to make sure. Key Workers enter via the main entrance.

The sign up form for the last two weeks will be live early in the week.

Phase Three

Our plans for Phase Three were launched on Friday. A chance for Years 2,3,4 and 5 to have some time back with their teacher before the end of term. Sign up closes lunchtime Tuesday. See previous posts for the link and info.

Please note, children can only use one form of care each week. However, if you know that you will need 3 to 4 days then complete the Key worker form as well. I will add a section for you to explain your needs between Phase Three and Key Worker on the form.

Work Packs

Lots of staff have been out and about delivering the last of the packs for the term and more will follow this week. We know how hard this is, so don’t worry if you aren’t getting through lots of work. Just do what you can.

Staff Video

We posted our second staff video – some staff had to attend a socially distanced assembly! If you haven’t already, please have a look!

School Closures

We also announced that school will be closed to all pupils on Friday 10th July and Friday 17th July.
This includes key worker places for those two weeks. The summer holidays also start on Friday 17th July.

Enjoy the last part of the week and we will see you soon!

Stay safe.

26.6.20 Phase Three

26th June 2020Mr Bennett
26.6.20 Phase Three
MONDAY 6TH JULY – FRIDAY 17TH JULY
Dear all,
As we enter the final few weeks before the school closes for the summer holiday, we would like to see if we can move into Phase Three Monday 6th July.
Again, there is no requirement to attend and parents can choose with no threat of fines. We would like to offer face to face time with their teacher to other year groups.
To do this some changes are needed to our current offer.
Years 2,3,4 and 5
· The intent of this Phase is to offer all year groups (2, 3, 4 and 5) a chance to return and see their teacher before moving up to their next class in September.
· Much of what we can offer will be down to you the parents and how many wish to take up this offer.
· Children will be offered a limited return of at least one day.
· Year 3 and Year 5 children will be offered a return during the week beginning the 6th July for one week only. Number of days depending on demand.
· Year 2 and Year 4 children will be offered a return during the week beginning the 13th July for one week only. Number of days depending on demand.
· There will be a one-time sign up which will open today and close next week. We will create our offer based upon these numbers.
· We want parents to use this option rather than Key Worker care.
Sign up form – Closes Tuesday 12pm
https://forms.gle/dQc2mjhPV9EpZnNu8

Current Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6
We will continue to offer time in school during the week beginning 6th July with some changes possible to the plan in the final week.
More information to follow.

Key Workers
Our Key Worker offer will also change in Phase Three:
· We really want children to see their own teacher before the summer, as teachers will start with new classes in September. We need key worker numbers to reduce to enable this next phase to be successful.
· Therefore, we will reduce the number of pupils we can take. We will take a maximum of 35 children via this route.
· No new children will be accepted into Key Worker Care for the final two weeks.
· Please consider if you really need to use this option as we will use set criteria to assign places. We hope the Phase Three offer will be used instead.
· All children with a place will be expected to attend Monday through Thursday (4 days). Single or odd days can’t be booked.

All Children
The school will be closed to ALL children on Friday 10th July and Friday 17th July. Staff will use these two INSET (Teacher Training) days to prepare for September with their new classes. There will be no key worker care on these days.

Thank you for your support.

25.6.20 Key Worker & Priority places for next week

25th June 2020Mr Bennett

25.6.20 Key Worker & Priority places for next week

Apologies for the delay, here is the current state of play.
Key Workers
Thank you to everyone who was able to swap or change, you were a huge help – virtual sticker of awesomeness to you all! We have one or two families to speak to in the morning to check places and then we are good to go (fingers crossed). Hopefully, without refusing anyone! Thanks for being so patient, numbers have risen so quickly these past few weeks.
N.B – There are no spare spaces for key worker places next week.
Priority Places
Thank you to everyone for signing up again. There have been a few new faces to fit into next week but groups will stay as:
  • Group 1 – Monday & Tuesday
  • Group 2 – Wednesday & Thursday
So if you were group 1 this week then that should be your group for next week. We will confirm groups for those children who’s first time it will be back in school next week.
If you missed the deadline for sign up, then feel free to contact me when I am in school on Friday and I will try my best to help.
Important – If you didn’t sign up, then you don’t have a place for next week, regardless of attendance this week or in Phase One.
Please note we can not guarantee, spaces or days available if you have missed the deadline.

25.6.20 Key Worker Places Update

25th June 2020Mr Bennett

25.6.20 Key Worker Places Update

Your help is needed!
Dear all,
we are over subscribed for key worker places on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
If you can managed in another way please let us know ASAP. We can move some to spaces to Thursday and Friday if that makes things easier.
If numbers can’t be reduced then some people will be refused places next week.
We appreciate how difficult this is and fully appreciate your help.
Please comment, message me or email [email protected] if you can change your child care needs.
Thanks in advance.
