Year 4 have got some Viking visitors in school next week. Click here for more information.
Year 5 had a fantastic day at Sunderland University. They were given a full campus tour and designed their ‘dream university’. They learnt about friction to build rockets. These were then tested for speed. They participated in an interactive presentation called ‘Degree or no Degree’, finding out which careers need a degree and which don’t. They also had the opportunity to explore their own career aspirations.
We will be participating this Friday in the NSPCC Number Day and invite all children to wear a splash of green or an item of clothing with a number with their normal uniform.
Whether it be a football top, green socks, green hair bow or a green monster onsie on top of your uniform; show your support for this fantastic cause.
Children will be participating in special maths activities on the day and any donations will be sent to the NSPCC.
