Here are some photos of our fabulous Y5 children on Christmas jumper day and at their Christmas party.
Thank you to our PTA for providing a Christmas magic treat for our younger children today!
Design Club have been super busy this term making felt Christmas tree decorations and stitching the edges. They added buttons for baubles too.
Some of our Year 2 children have enjoyed a fantastic six week programme of exciting science activities. All of the children worked extremely hard and have broadened their scientific knowledge by fully participating each week. Making bouncy balls, growing a crocodile, mixing colours, diving sultanas and laughing chickens are just some of the activities the club engaged in. A great time was had by all involved.
School Council have been working on a project to show and explain how school dinners are generally healthier and cheaper than packed lunches. Here is a poster that they produced.
As already mentioned on our November newsletter, Friday 15th December children are welcome to come to school wearing a Christmas jumper, or a decorated jumper with a Christmas theme. Donations would be welcomed towards this very worthy cause.
(Jumpers should be worn instead of school cardigans or sweatshirts with normal uniform, i.e. navy trousers or skirt.)
Carrying on the Christmas spirit…
As we have done in other years, children are invited to wear their Christmas jumpers again on the last day of term instead of school cardigans and sweatshirts with normal uniform.
Well done to our Y5 and Y6 children who performed two beautiful Carol concerts on Monday and Tuesday this week.
