Y4AS Co-op Funeral Care Virtual Christmas Concert

14th December 2020A Stelling

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Christmas has been very different around our school this year. We have all still had a brilliant time in the build up to the festive season but sadly, the corridors and hallways are not filled with singing, nativity concerts and Carol services.

We were asked to participate in the Co-op Funeral Care Virtual Concert. Y4AS bubble prepared two songs and recorded them to be used with other school bubble choirs from across South Tyneside to spread joy to those in nursing and residential care home across the north-east. We hope you enjoy it.

Chrome Book Collection Times

8th December 2020A Stelling
Chrome books will be available for collection from Thursday 10th December.
Devices must be collected by an adult and signed for upon collection from the main office. They cannot go home with a pupil.
It is important that we maintain social distancing, so we ask for parents to use the ramp to queue in the event of a number of adults collecting at the same time.
We will be open for collection at the following times:
  • Thursday 10th December 2:00-3:15 and 3:45 – 4:30
  • Friday 11th December 9:00- 10:15
If for any reason these times are not suitable please contact the office and we will see what we can arrange but we ask for parents to where possible collect within these times.
We have purposefully left time between school drop off times and end of day times to aid social distancing.
Thank you for your ongoing support.

Supporting the Custom’s House Charity: Arbuthnot & Dame Bella’s Christmas Adventure

4th December 2020A Stelling

We know that a huge part of many family traditions is going to the pantomime at Christmas time and we also know how appreciated our Customs House Theatre is to our town. We would like to support our little theatre with the big heart and also bring a little bit of panto spirit to our children.

On Wednesday 9th December children from nursery to Year 6 will have the opportunity to watch this years performance featuring the one and only Arbuthnot and Dame Bella, all we ask is that you donate £1 using our parent pay app. All of the money raised will be sent directly to The Customs House Charity, who provide many educational and social opportunities for all ages in our town.
