To bring to an end their topic on The Romans, year 3 had a fantastic Roman feast where the children ate food and played Roman games.
We have recently been developing our outdoor working area in the center of our school. On Wednesday Fun Club helped to plant our new herb garden.
We have been developing the quadrangle in the center of our school into a new learning zone. Work is still in progress but check out 1JD using the seated stage area this morning during their literacy lesson.
Nursery had a fantastic day at the Open Zone on Tuesday 9th June 2015. Check out their fantastic photos.
On Friday 5th June our nursery children took part in their annual pedal push to raise money for St Clare’s Hospice and nursery funds.
The children and the staff had a great day. .

After a successful term being members of Mortimer Chess Club, three of our Y6 pupils qualified for the Chess Challenge Megafinal 2015.Libby Cleugh, Scott Morrow and Adam Pearce spent Saturday 16th May at the Royal Grammar School competing against pupils from across the region. Congratulations for your success and well done for representing Mortimer so well.
